On the evening of September 12, the Chinese Embassy in Nauru held a themed film reception commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Lyu Jin, the Chinese Ambassador to Nauru, invited Speaker Stephen, Minister for Sports Jeremiah, Minister for Public Health Eoe, as well as representatives from the Nauru China Friendship Association, the Nauru National Youth Council, Chinese enterprises in Nauru, and overseas Chinese, totaling over 80 people, to watch the film "The Hundred Regiments Offensive". Before the screening, attendees also enjoyed a highlight reel of this year’s September 3 military parade.”
