On May 29, the Chinese Embassy in Nauru hosted the 2026 International Chinese Language Day and the Light of Chinese Civilization Digital Cultural Exhibition in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at USP. Ambassador Lyu Jin, Minister for Nauru Media Shadlog Bernicke, Secretary for Education Darrina Kun, Head of the USP Naoero Campus Felicity Canon, Director Li Chunxue of the Confucius Institute at USP, and guests from Nauru and China attended the event.
