On July 3, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Naoero hosted a reception celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Over 200 guests, including President David Adeang, Cabinet ministers, friends from Naoero, representatives of the Chinese company in Naoero, members of the local Chinese community, attended the event.

Ambassador Lyu Jin delivered a speech, introducing the guiding principles of President Xi’s address at the event marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. He walked the guests through the Party’s 105-year journey in uniting and leading the Chinese people and elaborated on the key to the CPC’s success.
President Adeang praised the historic achievements of the CPC and spoke highly of President Xi’s vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity as well as the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative, and the Global Governance Initiative. He reaffirmed Naoero’s commitment to the one-China principle, stressed that cooperation between Naoero and China since the establishment of diplomatic relations has brought tangible benefits to Naoero, expressed his expectation for deeper friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and wished China even greater achievements in the years ahead.
