On August 27, the Chinese Embassy in Naoero hosted a gathering for recipients of the Chinese Government Scholarship. Ambassador Lyu Jin and Deputy Minister for Education of Naoero Isabella Dageago presented admission letters to students who are about to pursue their studies in China, and Youth Friendship Envoy certificates to graduates who have completed their studies in China and returned to Naoero.

Minister-Counsellor Wang Xuguang of the Chinese Embassy and Acting Secretary for Education of Naoero Calista Kepae also attended the event.
