On August 20, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Nauru held an overseas Chinese symposium to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Over 60 people attended the event, including Ambassador Lyu Jin to Nauru，overseas Chinese from all walks of life in Nauru, and representatives of Chinese-funded institutions.
