The Chinese Embassy in Nauru held a solemn and moving reception and photo exhibition on September 1 at the Centennial Hall in Nauru, marking the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The event was attended by H.E. President David Adeang, Hon. Speaker Marcus Stephen, Hon. Minister Lionel Aingimea, Hon. Minister Jesse Jeremiah, and over 200 distinguished guests from the Government of Nauru, Nauru College, the Nauru Youth Council, and the local Chinese community. The exhibition left a deep impression on the visitors.
