On September 1, the Chinese Embassy in Nauru held a grand reception at Nauru Centennial Hall to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. More than 200 guests—including President Adeang, Speaker Stephen, Foreign Minister Aingimea, Sports Minister Jeremiah, heads of various government departments and institutions, teachers and students from Nauru Secondary School, representatives of Chinese enterprises in Nauru, and members of the Chinese community attended the event.
