On the morning of October 1, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Nauru organized a National Day flag-raising ceremony at the embassy to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, with representatives of Chinese institutions in Nauru participating. Lyu Jin, Chinese Ambassador to Nauru, led all embassy staff and their family members, as well as representatives of Chinese institutions in Nauru, to attend the ceremony.
