With the help of friendly individuals from both China and Nauru, and after a week of meticulous treatment at Nauru Hospital, the Chinese crew member who was seriously injured and urgently transferred to Nauru for medical care on October 27 was successfully discharged on November 1. He departed for home on the evening flight, accompanied by a caregiver. Embassy staff assisted with the airport procedures and escorted him during his departure.
