On May 4, the Embassy hosted a lively “Living the China Vibe” event to celebrate Chinese Youth Day and wrap up our #NauruansChinaStory campaign. Over the past month, friends across Nauru shared their personal China stories on Facebook—bringing our two peoples even closer together 

    During the event, five interactive stations brought the “China vibe” to life

    Chinese chess with friendly challenges

    Tea ceremony calm, elegant, and mindful

    Ambassador Lyu Jin shared how China’s vast land shapes its rich and diverse culture—and how innovation is transforming everyday life in ways that feel “like the future.” He encouraged everyone to keep sharing their stories and building bridges of understanding.

    We’ll keep creating more chances for friends in Nauru to visit China, experience it for yourselves, and discover even more of its culture.
