On September 20th, the Government of Nauru and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Nauru held a grand welcome ceremony to greet the Chinese naval hospital ship Ark Silk Road  – which is on the "Mission Harmony - 2025" task – during its visit to Nauru. Over 200 people attended the event, including President of Nauru David Adeang, Chinese Ambassador to Nauru Lyu Jin, Speaker of the Parliament of Nauru Marcus Stephen, Minister for Sports Jeremiah, Minister for Health Isabella Scotty, Cabinet Ministers Dageago and Gadabu, permanent secretaries for departments such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Infrastructure and Ministry of Education, heads of state-owned enterprises, friendly personages from all walks of life, as well as representatives of Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese in Nauru.
