On September 29, the material handover ceremony of Guangdong Jiangmen’s aid to Nauru was held at the Nauru Government Building. On behalf of Chen Anming, Secretary of the Jiangmen Municipal Committee, Liang Hongwu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangmen Municipal Committee, led a delegation to attend the ceremony and meet with Nauru President David Adeang. Adeang, along with all members of the Nauruan Cabinet, attended the ceremony and conducted on-site visits to the Jiangmen-funded plant factory and solar streetlight projects in Nauru. Lyu Jin, the Chinese Ambassador to Nauru, and embassy staff also participated in the event.
