President Xi noted that since the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Nauru, bilateral ties have made significant progress, and the fruitful outcomes of cooperation in various fields have brought tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries.

President Xi said that he highly appreciate that the Nauruan Government under President Adeang's leadership has firmly adhered to the one-China principle, adding that he attaches great importance to the development of China–Nauru relations and stand ready to work with President Adeang to elevate bilateral relations to new heights, bringing even greater benefits to two peoples.
